WWE RAW RUNDOWN: 29TH MAY 2017 Announcers: Michael Cole, Corey Graves & Booker T Location: Greenville, SC Venue: Bon Secours Wellness Arena RAW opens as every WWE TV show seems to open these days with an in-ring promo. SPOILER Smackdown does the same! The Miz and Maryse host Miz TV and their guests were Sheamus and Cesaro. Typical stuff with the heels running down their babyface opponents for Extreme Rules until Dean Ambrose and The Hardy Boyz run down to set up a match. Its getting so predictable now its beyond a joke! Dean Ambrose & The Hardy Boyz Vs Sheamus, Cesaro & The Miz with Maryse was immediately after the break. This was a decent match with a few weird spots but generally good. I don't see why they couldn't have just started the show with this match. Anyway the finish comes when Jeff Hardy hits the Swanton Bomb on The Miz for the 3 count. The Hardys continue their winning ways since returning building momentum for the Steel Cage match at Ex

WWE RAW RUNDOWN: 22ND MAY 2017 Announcers: Michael Cole, Corey Graves & Booker T Location: Grand Rapids, MI Venue: Van Andel Arena The show opened with Bray Wyatt in the ring. Bray ran down his four Extreme Rules opponents and talked about opening the chest of Brock Lesnar and feasting on his black heart. Gnarly! Roman Reigns came out to loud boos from the crowd. Reigns suggests Bray talk to his face and is trying to figure out how to get Bray out of his yard. GM Kurt Angle comes out to a HUGE ovation. Angle says he doesn't want to wait to see these guys go at it and books the match for right now. Nice! Roman Reigns Vs Bray Wyatt starts after the break. The announcers did well to remind everyone about the intense rivalry these two had in 2015. The match was pretty hard hitting but didn't last long. After about 5 minutes Samoa Joe ran down putting Roman Reigns in the Coquina Clutch causing the DQ. Joe puts the clutch on Wyatt then Seth Rollins comes down to

Theres a few things that have happened in WWE in the last couple of days that I want to cover in brief before I get onto some PPV predictions! First of all I wanna talk about the WWE United Kingdom Championship special that aired on the WWE Network this past Friday. Overall I thought the show was decent but my epectations were perhaps to high after the excellent tournament back in January. Having Jim Ross and Nigel McGuiness on commentary was fantastic. Not only was it a breath of fresh air to hear only 2 announcers on a WWE show again but the two make a really good team with their massive amounts of experience in the industry. Wolfgang Vs Joseph Conners was an ok match but probably not the best way to start the show. I know from seeing both men on UK indy shows like ICW and WCPW that they are capable of better. The cruiserweight tag match again was ok but wasn't really anything you wouldn't see on RAW or 205 live. The no.1 contenders match between Pete Dunne and Tr

WWE SMACKDOWN SUMMARY: 16TH MAY 2017 Announcers: Tom Phillips, JBL & Byron Saxton Venue: SNHU Arena Location: Manchester, NH The show opens with the 'Highlight Reel' by Kevin Owens. Personally didn't think Owens needed to steal this from Chris Jericho but whatever. Owens talked about how he put Jericho on the injured list and how he was going to beat AJ Styles this Sunday at Backlash. This brings out Styles who talks about bringing the title back to the good old U...S...A! This brings out Jinder Mahal with the Singh Brothers who was ready for his match with Styles right now. I'm not sure why they couldn't have just started the show with this match rather than this promo segment which achieved nothing. Felt like it was done just because WWE has to open every show with a promo. After commercial its AJ Styles Vs Jinder Mahal with Kevin Owens doing guest commentary. I though the match was decent even though alot of people I know didn't. Jinde

WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW RUNDOWN: MAY 15TH 2017 Announcers: Michael Cole, Corey Graves & Booker T Venue: Prudential Center Location: Newark, NJ The show starts with Raw GM Kurt Angle coming to the ring. Kurt says that Braun Strowman had surgery on his elbow and he is set to be out of action for 6 months. This is sad news for Braun and I hope he is better soon. I have read some reports that the reported 6 months might be a work and he will actually be back in a couple of months. Lets hope this is the case! Kurt says Braun had his eyes set on a Universal title match but now he needs to find a new challenger for Brock Lesnar. At Extreme Rules it will be Seth Rollins Vs Samoa Joe Vs Finn Balor Vs Bray Wyatt Vs Roman Reigns in a Fatal 5-Way Extreme Rules match with the winner facing Brock for the Universal title. Hell yes this should be good! Roman Reigns comes out to a mixed reaction. Reigns talks about his recent accomplishments and says he's the only guy who can

This week I'm going to do things a little differently. As I was away seeing Iron Maiden I've only just had the chance to catch up on Raw and Smackdown this week. So instead of doing separate posts for both shows I'm going to talk about both shows in brief in this post and then give my thoughts on this weeks shows at the end. WWE RAW RUNDOWN: May 8th 2017 Announcers: Michael Cole, Corey Graves & Booker T Venue: The o2 Arena Location: London, UK Dean Ambrose is on the phone to Kurt Angle who makes him GM for the night. Ambrose comes out to set out his plans for the night until The Miz interrupts. Miz says Steph has made him co-GM for the night. This brings out Braun Strowman with his arm in a sling, who talks about wanting some more of Roman Reigns. Kalisto comes out wanting revenge for the dumpster attack a couple weeks ago and Dean makes the match for tonight. Dean also tells Miz after what happened last week he faces Finn Balor....next! Finn Ba

WWE Smackdown Summary: May 2nd 2017 Announcers: Tom Phillips, JBL & Byron Saxton Venue: Save Mart Center Location: Frenso, CA Before the show intro we see Jinder Mahal having a photoshoot with the WWE title. Outrageous heel actics. Shane McMahon appears taking the belt to give it back to Randy Orton. Shane books Jinder Mahal Vs Sami Zayn for Smackdown which makes sense as Zayn was the one who got pinned in the 6-pack challenge.  After the intro Shane McMahon came out and introduced the new United States champion Chris Jericho who gets a great reaction. Y2J says this is now the 'Show of Jericho' which bring out AJ Styles. AJ mentions 'Y2AJ' and their history from last year. Owens comes out and runs down everyone in the ring while the crowd chants 'You Tap Out!'. Owens told AJ to get out of his ring, which he did and brawled on the ramp. This made the announcement from Shane that AJ will be banned from the main event between Y2J and

WWE RAW RUNDOWN May 1st 2017 Announcers: Michael Cole, Corey Graves & Booker T Venue: Golden 1 Center Location: Sacremento, CA After the intro package, Monday Night Raw started with Bayley, Alicia Fox, Sasha Banks, Nia Jax, Emma, Dana Brooke and Mickie James in the ring with a podium in the centre. The New Raw Womens champion is announced and Alexa Bliss smugly makes her way to the ring. Alexa delivers a typically great heel promo stating that 'The Queen is Dead! Long live Alexa Bliss, the one and only Goddess of WWE'. She runs down Mickie James with an age related insult and points out to Sasha Banks that she pinned her on the way to the title. Bliss accidentally bumps into Nia smoothing things other quickly talking about how good Nia is. She gets on top of the podium and insults Bayley saying how she is her families new role model. This sets Bayley off who tips the podium knocking Bliss off and everyone gets into a scuffle 8 woman tag team match after

Bell2Bell Review: WWE Payback 2017 Venue: SAP Center Location: San Jose, California Announce Team: Michael Cole, Corey Graves & Booker T   Post-Wrestlemania is always a fun time for WWE and its fans. All the excitement coming off the 'Grandest Stage of them All' is mixed with anticipation for what comes next. New feuds begin, Wrestlemania rematches are set and we see superstars make their debut or return. This year has been no exception. We have seen the return of one of the greatest tag teams of all time as well as 3 NXT acts make their debuts on the main roster. But this year we had the added chaos thrown in of the superstar shake-up with Raw and Smackdown stars swapping brands. For better or worse the shake-up has massively affected the build to the first major event after Wrestlemania which like last year is Payback. This is the 5th annual Payback event and it has provided some excellent matches over the years including 2014s epic main event between Evoluti
