This Week in the Universe #3

Times in WWE are.....interesting to say the least. Last weeks Raw was pretty awful and this past Sunday's Smackdown exclusive show Money in the Bank had some controversial decisions. Could both shows recover from these set backs? Wow! What a huge improvement this weeks Raw was! 3 great segments and some decent in-ring action made for a much better show from Raw this week. My personal highlight for the week was the return of 'The Monster Among Men' Braun Strowman who has been sorely missed over the past few months. During a really good Roman Reigns & Samoa Joe match an Ambulance showed up backstage and Strowman emerged from the back to a huge ovation. The distraction was enough for Joe lock in the coquina clutch to make Reigns pass out. Strowman made his way out after the match to beat down Reigns. He declared that he wasn't finished with Reigns and challenged him to an Ambulance Match at Great Balls of Fire. That should be savage! My second favourite segment fr

BELL2BELLWRESTLING REVIEW: WWE MONEY IN THE BANK 2017 Announcers: Tom Phillips, JBL & Byron Saxton Location: St Louis, MI Venue: Scotttrade Center Over the years the Money in the Bank event has become one of the most anticipated events of the WWE calendar and this year was no exception. A Smackdown Live exclusive show with the chance to create some new stars and create history. Here are my thoughts on WWE Money in the Bank 2017: Opening match of the show its the HISTORIC first ever Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Carmella, Natalaya & Tamina battling it out for a guaranteed contract for the Smackdown Women's Championship. The crowd was super hot for this match and overall I don't feel like it disappointed in terms of action. The hype video before the match talking about the history of women in wrestling was great really building up the importance of this match. None of the women looked cautious thro

Last week we saw all 4 of WWE's weekly shows deliver decent in ring action as well as some great promo segments. With Money in the Bank days away and Great Balls of Fire on the horizon, how would WWE fare this week with RAW, Smackdown Live, 205 Live and NXT? Oh Dear Raw....Oh Dear. Basically watch the first 15 minutes then just watch the rest on Youtube if you want because this was really bad. The Main event between Sheamus & Cesaro and The Hardy Boyz had been hyped up all night and then the match had a countout finish. I guess there will be a rematch at Great Balls of Fire but this feud is strating to drag a bit in my opinion. Emma made her return which was awesome but then she took the fall in a 6 woman tag match. What?! Please put Emma on Smackdown where she might actually get treated properly! It looks like Sasha Banks will be the next challenger to Alexa Bliss which could be really good. There was a few amusing segments involving Heath Slater & Rhyno, The Miz, D

This week I'm doing some different to what I normally do. As I've caught alot of WWE these past few days I have decided to cover my thoughts on the shows I've seen this week all in this blog! First I'm going to talk about WWE Monday Night Raw. Following what I thought was a really good Extreme Rules event I though Raw this week was overall very good. Like many Raw's there was alot of short matches but a couple of good long matches. The segment with Samoa Joe & Paul Heyman was excellent and ranks right up there with the 'Festival of Friendship' as the best non wrestling segment of the year so far. Samoa Joe looked like a legit badass and I can't wait to see what happens when Brock Lesnar shows up next week. The matches between Bray Wyatt/Roman Reigns & Samoa Joe/Seth Rollins were very good even if we have seen it several times before. Looks like we are getting a Wyatt/Rollins feud which I'm fine with. No Finn Balor, Hardy Boyz or Bayley

WWE EXTREME RULES 2017 REVIEW Announcers:  Michael Cole, Corey Graves & Booker T Location: Baltimore, MA Venue: Royal Farms Arena Intercontinental Title Match: Dean Ambrose (c) vs The Miz with Maryse The show kicks off with a great IC title match. Both men seem to work really well together and the crowd was really into it with dual chants throughout the match. The stipulation was that if Ambrose got DQd then he would lose the title which of course meant lots Miz trying to get Dean DQd alot. There was a really good sequence when Miz has Dean in the figure four leg lock for ages and Then Dean manages to get Miz in the figure four which the crowd really enjoyed. Both men sell really well afterwards hobbling around the ring.  Miz wins with skull crushing finale. Miz tells Maryse to slap him which she does and we all think the referee is going to DQ Ambrose but the ref is wise enough and orders Maryse to leave ringside. The ref is distracted trying to remove her and Mi
